FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to tissue treatment devices, particularly to unblocking low-pressure therapy system with enabled double zone pressure protection. The low-pressure therapy system contains a low-pressure source being in flow-type connection with a tissue area, a measurement device and a data processor. The measurement device is connected to the low-pressure source and aims at measuring source pressure in the low-pressure source. The data processor is connected to the measurement device and aims at determining a pressure difference of the source pressure and the required tissue area pressure. The data processor is additionally connected with the low-pressure source to regulate the source pressure applied by the low-pressure source so that the pressure difference do not exceed (a) a first maximal pressure difference provided there is a block between the low-pressure source and the tissue area, and (b) a second maximal pressure difference provided there is no block between the low-pressure source and the tissue area. The second maximal pressure difference is more than the first maximal pressure difference. A method of treating a tissue area involves low pressure application to the tissue area by means of the low-pressure source. It is followed by controlling the source pressure in the low-pressure source. The pressure difference of the source pressure and the required tissue area pressure is evaluated. The pressure difference of the first maximal pressure difference is limited provided there is a block between the low-pressure source and the tissue area. The pressure difference of the second maximal pressure difference is limited provided there is no block between the low-pressure source and the tissue area. The second maximal pressure difference is more than the first maximal pressure difference. The low-pressure therapy system contains a means of low-pressure application to the tissue area, a control means of the source pressure in the means of low-pressure application, a means of evaluating the pressure difference of the source pressure and the required tissue area pressure, a means of limiting the pressure difference of the first maximal pressure difference provided there is a block between the means of low-pressure application and the tissue area, a means of limiting the pressure difference of the second maximal pressure difference provided there is no block between the means of low-pressure application and the tissue area. The second maximal pressure difference is more than the first maximal pressure difference.
EFFECT: inventions provide protection against a tissue area injury caused by high negative pressure, providing simultaneously ability to overcome high hydrostatic pressure under normal (no-block) conditions.
