FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a blood pumping apparatus and can be used as an auxiliary device in insufficient cardiac performance, and also as a main pump in assisted circulatory systems. The apparatus comprises a rotor 6 with an axial flow wheel and an outlet straightener 12 integrated in a stator winding of an electric drive. Blades 7 of a rotor wheel have root 16 and free peripheral 13 portions. The rotor 6 is provided with permanent magnets. Reamers of the root 16 and free peripheral 13 portions of the blades 7 of the axial flow wheel represent coupled segments of logarithmic spirals.
EFFECT: invention provides minimised haemolysis and blood thrombosis with preset performance parameters.
