FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: crumbled iron ore concentrate is proportionally mixed with carbonic reducer in form of crushed brown coal of fractions not more, than 3 mm and with binding in form of bentonite. Further, there are successively performed agglomeration, heat treatment of agglomerates, supply of iron-carbon containing agglomerates into a furnace with a revolving bed, agglomerates heating and metallisation. Iron-carbon containing agglomerates are heat treated in rising and descending flows of gases supplied from a heat exchanger of cooling of fumes in the furnace with a revolving bed. Agglomerates are heated with supply of gaseous fuel produced in a coal gasificator and supplied into the furnace. Temperature of gases supplied for heat treatment of agglomerates is preferably maintained at 350-400°C.
EFFECT: reduced power and material expenditures for preparation of material and for reduction process.
