FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for separation of loose materials and may be used in food, chemical and other industries. Proposed method consists in gravity feed of separated mix particles, exposing said particles to aerodynamic continuously increasing effects at acute angle to vertical line brought about by multiple flat jets with circulation zones and discharge of finished fractions. Aerodynamic flow is formed as system of separate jets constantly moving from bottom to top and interacting aerodynamically due to expansion and Coanda attachment. Circulation zones are equal-size toroids, each being concentric with its jet. Method is implemented using the device comprising hopper with vibrating chute, jet generator arranged there under with flat nozzles mounted one below the other and at acute angle to vertical line, and separation chamber with collectors of fractions arranged there under. Jet generator is made up of hollow revolving perforated drum with generating surface provided with multiple separated channels to form separate jets. Separation chamber and air feed drive are communicated via said drum diametricly. Said channels are made up of branch pipes secured on said generating surface at acute angle to tangential line in direction aligned with direction of rotation of said drum.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation and processing quality.
