FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation method s and devices and can be used in various industrial branches. Proposed method consists in gravity feed of particles, aerodynamic monotonically increasing effect of flat jets acting at acute angle to vertical line and discharging finished fractions. Before aerodynamic effects, stream of each jet is changed into developed turbulence conditions by widening the jest along vertical line till their merging with disruptive stream form, or form approximating thereto, and forming at the beginning of each interjet space of all adjacent jets at least two circulation zones differing in magnitude. Proposed device consisting of hopper with vibrating chute, generator arranged there under, flat nozzles arranged one above the other and at acute angle to vertical line. Cross section of said nozzles, their spacing and mounting angle increase from top to bottom. Device is communicated with forced air feed source and incorporates collectors of fractions. Each nozzle has rectangular stiff wall adjoining the nozzle from above and over its entire width. Stiff wall width makes three height of nozzle cross section, while nozzle spacing-to-cross section height ratio makes at least 4.
EFFECT: higher quality of separation, simple servicing.
