SUBSTANCE: invention is used mainly in agriculture for cleaning and sorting seeds of cereal, herbal and other crops, in breeding stations, in farms, in milling and feed production, as well as in the production of building materials, in the food, chemical, coal industries for the enrichment of coal and in other sectors of the national economy. Method of separation of the granular mixture in a fluid medium includes a gravitational flow of particles, an aerodynamic monotonously increasing effect on them at an acute angle to the vertical by a cascade of flat jets and the withdrawal of the finished fractions. Each jet is expanded to merge with its neighbors and the formation of adjacent jets of two circulation zones – the upper and the lower – in different sizes in the full-flow interstrip space. In this case, the initial expansion is carried out continuously and unilaterally – only upward with the formation of a lower stable circulation zone. Upper circulation zone is formed periodically due to self-oscillations of the boundary of the confluence of adjacent jets along and across the direction of movement of the total flow. Dimensions of the upper circulation zone at its maximum do not exceed the dimensions of the lower circulation zone. Device for implementing the separation method comprises a hopper with a vibrating flow, a multi-jet generator installed below it, connected to a pressure source and enclosed by side walls with collections of fractions, vertical walls, to the top of which at an angle greater than 90° adjacent inclined rigid walls with the formation of gap gaps with the upstream vertical wall. At the same time, the width of the vertical walls is at least seven times the width of the adjacent gaps and twice the width of the rigid walls associated with them.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the number of circulation zones without the risk of generation failure; the occurrence of additional aerodynamic effects in the form of zones of microvortexes; simplifying the design of the device; simplification of separation technology; improvement of the aerodynamic parameters of the device.
