FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: actuating device of plunger pump has at least one cam located on cam shaft, which for creation of back-and-forth movement of plunger interacts with plunger or the assembly located between cam and plunger. The above cam has the curve of working part of cam with the first section for upward travel and the second section for downward travel. Curve of cam working part changes based on the shape corresponding to sine wave so that in comparison with the shape of sine wave the plunger acceleration increase takes place at the beginning of upward travel and plunger retardation decrease at the end of upward travel. At that, curve of working part of cam on its first section has the shape that is obtained from superimposition of half-oscillation of the first sine wave with the second sine wave; at that the second sine wave has doubled frequency and smaller amplitude relative to the first sine wave.
EFFECT: creation of the device providing inconsiderable kinematic excitation of spring oscillations of plunger pair at simultaneous increase of maximum rotation frequency.
