SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a wireline network, a customer communication node for use in a wireless network and a digital subscriber line (DSL) traffic transmission method. The wireline network comprises a telephony network switching device and a plurality of customer communication nodes distributed among a plurality of customer premises. All customer communication nodes are linearly interconnected through a plurality of customer premises and have a link path to the telephony network switching device. Each interconnection has an electrically conductive twisted wire pair. Each customer communication node has a traffic add/drop function.
EFFECT: high carrying capacity in a wireline telephony network based on a twisted wire pair.
