FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and concerns an intraluminal probe. The probe packed in a ready-to-use condition comprises a hydrophilic tube having a distal inserted end, and a near service end connected with a tip containing a channel which is connected on the one end with the tube and opens a hole on the other end. The probe is completely built in a hermetically sealed package and contains a retrievable plug which tightly closes a tip hole. The package is tightly fastened to the tip to make the latter forming two sealed chambers which are connected by a tube opening and said tip channel only. The first chamber which accommodates the tube contains a fluid for lubrication of the hydrophilic coating of the tube to ensure higher slippage. The second chamber whereto the hole opens does not contain a lubricant.
EFFECT: simplified use and eliminated ingress of the lubricant from the tip opposed to the probe tube.
