FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: urinary catheter assembly comprises a urinary catheter with a hydrophilic surface. Urinary catheter comprises a tip for insertion on the proximal end of the urinary catheter and an outlet opening at the distal end of the urinary catheter, a handle, arranged with possibility of sliding on urinary catheter, compressible flexible coupling, attached to the handle and configured to close the urinary catheter from the outlet to the tip in the deployed configuration of the urinary catheter assembly. Coupling is attached to the connector at the outlet. Connector and the handle are made with the possibility of detachable attachment to each other with the formation of a cavity enveloping the whole urinary catheter in the storage state. Connector comprises an inner connecting part and an external connecting part. Inner connecting part and outer connecting part are separated by fluid channel. Fluid channel is located in said inner connector. There are disclosed sets of parts for use in urine diversion and a method for preparing a urinary catheter for administration.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced ease of introduction into the urethra.
