FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: foaming composition, which contains an ingredient in form of particles with multiple internal voids which contain a liquid in supercritical state with critical temperature of at least approximately 10°C. The present invention also relates to a method of preparing such a foaming composition. The liquid in supercritical state with critical temperature of at least approximately 10°C is in contact with the ingredient in form of particles with glass transition point higher than room temperature at temperature higher than the glass transition point of the ingredient in form of particles, where the ingredient in form of particles contains multiple internal voids. The ingredient in form of particles is held at temperature higher than its glass transition point for a period of time which is sufficient for transfer of the liquid in supercritical state into the multiple internal voids of the gradient in form of particles. Further, the temperature is lowered to a value lower than the glass transition point of the ingredient in form of particles, thus capturing at least a portion of the liquid in supercritical state in the ingredient in form of particles.
EFFECT: invention shortens foaming time and cost of the starting material.
