POLYMER CELLULOSE COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF ITS OBTAINING Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61K47/38 A61K31/155 A61P31/04

Abstract RU 2432964 C2

FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biocidal polymer cellulose compositions, modified by water-soluble ionogenic polyelectrolytes. As biocidal component it is proposed to apply polymethacrylate guanidine, which has zwitterionous delocalised structure. In order to obtain polymer cellulose composition to water suspension of swollen in water cellulose or dialdehydecellulose added is solution of methacrylate guanidine and ammonium persulphate with ratio cellulose/dialdehyde cellulose: water = 1:30 wt; concentration of methacrylate guanidine in water 1.0-3.5%; ratio of methacrylate guanidine: ammonium persulphate = 1:0.001 wt, mixture is heated to 60°C and copolymerisation is carried out during 5-20 hours. Obtained modified product is separated from mother waters and dried. As a result it is possible to create mono- and bimatrix biocidal composites, in which realised are various forms of immobilisation of basic biocidal component: mechanical, sorption and sorption-chemical, inoculative-copolymerisation, polymerisation in situ.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to make technological process cheaper, reduce energy consumption, increase medication activity, reduce its consumption due to prolonged action and eliminate undesirable influence of medication on healthy organs and tissues.
