FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling, in particular, to position sensors (1) to measure length of adjustment travel of a hydraulic cylinder-piston group (3, 4), which transfers load to support pads of rollers (2) of a rolling mill stand. The position sensor (1) is designed to measure relative displacement of two composite parts (3, 4) of the cylinder-piston group (3, 4) in direction (a) of their displacement. The position sensor (1) is equipped with a connecting element (5) to eliminate effect of tilting movements at it. The connecting element (5) is equipped with two flat spring elements, from which the element (6) passes in direction (a) of displacement, and its end (7) is connected with the first connecting part (8). The other end (9) of the first flat spring element (6) is connected with the intermediate bearing support (10). The second flat spring element (11) also passes in direction (a) of displacement, besides, its one end (12) is connected to the intermediate bearing support (10), and the other end (13) - with the second connecting part (14). Planes of both flat spring elements (6, 11) are arranged relative to each other with twisting at the angle (b) around the axis of displacement direction (a).

EFFECT: invention provides for high accuracy of measurement with simple and compact design of connecting element.
