FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing of cartridge cases for civil, service, combat hand small arms, pyrocartridges, cartridges for construction and assembly and artillery shots. The method includes cutting a stock, its calibration, manufacturing of a cylindrical stepped sleeve by impression, thinning of the wall by drawing, bottom stamping to form a capsule seat. The volume calibration of the stock is carried out by means of its variation along the height, diameter and form by means of a combined transverse-longitudinal extrusion of material from a guide part of a matrix into a cavity of the matrix with the specified profile. At the same time complete leakage of the stock material is ensured from the guide part of the matrix, or an incomplete one to form at least a double-staged calibrated semi-finished product. One of stages of the semi-finished product is formed by the guide part of the matrix, and the other stage - by the matrix cavity.
EFFECT: improved process capabilities of the process and reduced loads at the tool.
