FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to benches of firing trials of liquid-propellant rocket engines, in particular, to benches, at which firing trials are carried out with liquid-propellant rocket engines of lower capacity compared to a higher capacity bench relative to the rated one for a gas-dynamic pipe. The bench of firing trials of liquid-propellant rocket engines, comprising an armored chamber with a tested rocket engine installed in it, the exhaust of which is connected to the inlet into a cooled gas-dynamic pipe, having serially joined confusor, cylindrical, diffuser sections, a gas-dynamic plant, with the help of which the torch is cooled down and exhaust noise is suppressed, a hydraulic dampener and an exhaust pipe, at the same time at the inlet of the gas-dynamic pipe there is a circular header installed, which comprises jet nozzles, axes of which are parallel to the axis of the gas-dynamic pipe, at the same time the specified header is connected to the system of gaseous oxygen of high pressure, besides, the number of jet nozzles is selected on the basis of the required enrichment of the concurrent flow with gaseous oxygen, which provides for afterburning of carbonic acid gas and hydrogen in exhaust gases. This invention will find application in covered benches of firing trials of liquid-propellant rocket engines.
EFFECT: reduced percentage of carbon oxide and hydrogen content in exhaust gases of tested engines, which improves environmental condition near the bench.
