SUBSTANCE: storage for image forming apparatus has a storage container for image forming apparatus, an opening/closing element, an interlocking element and an element for preventing interlocking. The interlocking element includes an interlocking part in the storage container of the image forming apparatus and an interlocked part in the opening and closing element. The interlocked part is configured to interlock with the interlocking part such that if the position at which the interlocking part and the interlocked part can be interlocked with each other is removed, the interlocking element enables the opening and closing element to open and not enable the opening and closing element to open in the position where the interlocking part and the interlocked part can be interlocked with each other. The position where the interlocking part and the interlocked part can be interlocked with each other is removed if the opening and closing element moves in a direction which intersects the direction of input relative the storage container of the image forming apparatus from a position where the interlocking part and the interlocked part can be interlocked with each other.

EFFECT: possibility of preventing opening of the closing-opening element in one direction relative the housing of the storage of the image forming apparatus.
