FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed container for storing an image-forming agent has a container housing, a driven transmitting element and a guide part. The container housing stores the image-forming agent. The container housing has a configuration which allows installation into the housing of the image-forming apparatus. The driven transmitting element is provided on the lateral edge of the container housing. A driving force is transmitted to the driven transmitting element. The guide part guides installation of the container housing into the housing of the image-forming apparatus. The guide part lies at a position in front of the driven transmitting element in the direction in which the container housing is installed into the housing of the image-forming apparatus. The guide part is provided on the lateral edge of the container housing such that it protrudes from it.
EFFECT: providing a container for storing an image-forming agent, which prevents damage to the driven transmitting element without increasing the outer edge of the container, and which can be easily installed into the housing of the image-forming apparatus and extracted from it even in a tilted state.
