SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a powder container containing a powder, such as a toner, and also relates to an image forming apparatus, where powder is transported from the powder container to its final destination. Declared group of inventions includes an image forming apparatus and powder container, wherein the powder container can be attached to a powder refilling device in the longitudinal direction; this device includes a transportation nozzle to transfer powder, a nozzle opening in the transportation nozzle to receive powder from the powder container, and an engaging element of the powder refilling device to hold the powder container by means of transverse displacement of powder container, wherein the powder container comprises a conveyor that makes it possible to transport powder from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction, the latter having an opening, a toothed wheel that make it possible to use the external driving force to move the conveyor, a nozzle receiver arranged on the container opening that is configured to receive the insertable transpiration nozzle and an engaged section of the container which is arranged outside of the tooth of the toothed wheel in the radial direction and includes the engaged section, which is engaged with the engaging element of the refilling device, wherein the engaged section is arranged in such a manner that it aligns longitudinally the opening of the transportation nozzle, when the powder container is attached to the powder refilling device.

EFFECT: development of the powder container into which a transportation nozzle can be inserted and which is configured in such a manner that it is possible to hold the powder container in the refilling position inside the refilling device, so that powder can be consistently transported from the powder container to the refilling device; additionally, the development of an image forming apparatus which includes a powder container.
