FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of mechanical impurities from oil and gas and may be used in oil and gas industries, power engineering, etc. Proposed separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing with cover and bottom, water-vapor mix tangential feed branch pipe, vapor discharge branch pipe jointed to cover, water discharge branch pipe connected to housing nearby the bottom, precipitate discharge branch pipe connected to bottom, horizontal web with vapor dehydrator, funnel, perforated axial branch pipe, and shielding truncated cone with vortex directed toward housing cover. Shielding truncated cone is arranged under aforesaid tangential branch pipe at housing bottom to make clearance along the edges. Vapor dehydrator is arranged at housing top, above tangential branch pipe. Besides, separator is furnished with one extra shielding truncated cone. Perforated axial branch pipe is arranged above tangential branch pipe and jointed to water discharge branch pipe. Shielding truncated cones are arranged on perforated axial branch pipe, above its holes. Vapor dehydrator is composed of barrel with perforated bottom accommodating folded plate and connected via intermediate element with aforesaid funnel.
EFFECT: preventing clogging of separator by solid fractions.
