FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed anchor for fixation of downhole equipment including cone with slips connected with string, case with holder and branch installed outside case and performing limited lengthwise travel downward, thrust by spring down from case and having inside circular groove for holder. Also, the cone is rigidly jointed to the case on external surface of which there is made recess for the holder. The holder corresponds to a spring expanding ring. The spring is set between upper and lower stops resting correspondingly on the branch and the case in transport position when they are fixed with a shear element. From beneath the branch rests on the slips which travel radially relative to the branch. The holder enters the groove of the branch when the spring is compressed.

EFFECT: reliable fixation of anchor structure in specified interval and guaranteed return of jammed elements of anchor into transport position owing to additional holding mechanism.
