FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of composite nanopowders with metal matrix reinforced by oxide fillers to be used in fabrication of wear- and corrosion-resistant pore-free coats. Proposed comprises mechanical doping of plastic metal powders with nonmetallic high-hardness particles. Note here that Al - Zn - Sn-system powders are used as plastic metallic powders while nano-sized Al2O3 powder is used as high-hardness nonmetallic particles.
EFFECT: pore-free functionally gradient coat with high operating properties.
