FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: detection is carried out using a spectrometric scintillation gamma-ray detector by analysing gamma-ray spectra of inspected objects with fissile materials, which is carried out by the inspecting party in the 2-700 keV spectral range, wherein before authorised inspection, the inspected party generates measurement errors, for which two additional gamma-ray emitters Ce-139 and Cs-137 and a metallic gamma-ray attenuator in form of figures with a variable cross-section, the shape of which is not known to the inspecting party, are placed before the input of the scintillation unit of the scintillation detector of the inspecting party.
EFFECT: anti-intrusive detection of nuclear warheads in missile heads in real authorised inspection conditions.
