FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method to control a converter of voltage source, comprising at least one phase branch, containing a serial connection of switching elements (7), in which each element has at least two semiconductor devices (16, 17) of locking type, at least two bypass diodes (18, 19), connected to them in parallel, and at least one capacitor (20) of energy accumulation, includes stages, at which each switching element is controlled according to a sample of width-pulse modulation, so that each switching element is switched in order to change condition between the applied zero voltage and voltage at its capacitor at its terminals, every time, when a wave of sawtooth voltage for this switching element crosses reference AC voltage that belongs to this switching element.
EFFECT: increased reliability and fast response to changes in operation modes.
