FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: there proposed is cleaning method of heat exchanger immediately in its installation place in "wet" cooling tower, which involves generation at least of one strong air jet by means of generator performing the controlled volume increase of compressed gas passing through nozzle in the direction of arrangement zone of the above heat exchanger. Generator has the outlet at some distance (H) from the above zone. At that, method involves repetition of the above operation after movement of the generator located under heat exchanger from outer side from the above zone. In order to implement the above method, there proposed is the device in which the above generator includes compressed gas source, one reservoir interconnected with the above gas source which has controlled opening and closing by means of control valve, and with the environment through seat of working member of the valve that has controlled opening and closing; and control devices intended to control the valve and the valve working member.
EFFECT: increasing heat exchanger cleaning efficiency.
