FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: suspended particles analysis method involves illumination of a stream of particles with a light flux and registration of images of the particles based whereon on concludes on size of the latter. After passage of the stream of particles the light flux, with the help of a system of objectives and mirrors, is uniformly turned at an angle of 60° relative to the initial flux and repeatedly passed through the stream where the light flux passes through the countable domain of the stream of particle "three times". The images are transmitted into the registration plane with the objective of a video camera connected to a personal computer.

EFFECT: enhanced information capacity of data for evaluation of particles shapes; for particles of the sufficiently simple rotation ellipsoid form - provision for the opportunity to determine both characteristic sizes of particles as well as their special orientation.
