FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: suspended particle analysis device includes a laser source, a lens and mirror system where the light beam is turned evenly at an angle to the original beam and again passes through the particle stream and the particle images are recorded from the three angles of light flux. These images are transferred to the registration plane by the lens of a video camera connected to a personal computer, and to increase the accuracy of the measurement, the device additionally comprises a semi-transparent mirror, a mirror, a semi-transparent elliptic mirror, a lens with a mirror, a diaphragm, a light trap, a photoelectric multiplier, an amplifier, an analog-to-digital converter connected to the computer, two digital-to-analog converters connected to the computer, and two power amplifiers to control the laser and fan respectively, CCD array (instead of the video camera), whereto the amplifier, the analog-to-digital converter, DSP-processor are connected. A liquid crystal display and interface to external devices are also connected to the computer.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of dimensioning, regardless of the complex refractive index in a wider range of sizes.
