FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: flow of particles is illuminated with the light beam, and the image of the particles is recorded, according to which the sizes and shapes of the particles are judged. The light beam, after passing through the flow, is turned against the initial beam and again passed through the flow, where the registration of the particle image is performed from the three angles of the light flow. The light beam is additionally directed to the counting volume by using a translucent mirror, a mirror and a lens, and the light pulses scattered by the particles are recorded by using the translucent elliptic mirror, the lens, the aperture, and the photoelectronic multiplier, and the direct light flow is absorbed by the light trap, reflecting from the mirror.

EFFECT: significant increase of the informative data to assess the size and form of the particles.
