FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: blood leukocyte level, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood fibrinogen level are measured. A prognostic index is calculated by formula Z=0.217×X1+0.083×X2+0.458×X3, where X1 is leukocytes - L (109/l), X2 is erythrocyte sedimentation rate - ESR (mm/h), X3 - venous blood fibrinogen - FG (g/l). If the Z value is less than 6.96, non-necrosis uterine myoma is predicted; if the Z value exceeds 7.80, uterine myoma necrosis is predicted, and the Z value within the range 6.96 to 7.80 provides uncertainty and requires progression follow-up of a patient.

EFFECT: use of the method allows predicting tumour necrosis that is an additional criterion to build indications for surgical management in pregnancy.
