FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of exciting seismic waves, involving symmetric arrangement on an area of a group of elementary radiators which are not connected to each other and successive generation of seismic waves by each elementary radiator with time delay relative each other where: ω is the dominant frequency of the elastic wave, i, n is the index number and number of elementary radiators in a group. Symmetric arrangement is carried out on the area of a circle whose radius is not greater than a quarter of the predominant length of the transverse wave.
EFFECT: broader functionalities owing to multiwave seismology.
