FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed versions serve to define fuel consumption for at least one section of the route whereon vehicle moves and which is at least one downgrade on hill slope. Proposed device comprises also the appliance to define if the vehicle moves on said section. It incorporates also the device to define continuously or intermittently if driver, when vehicle is on said section, takes up first measure wherein said measure is taking off a positive torque. Besides, it uses the appliance to define the results of measuring aforesaid first measure and appliance acting proceeding from said measurement results to determine the parameter describing fuel consumption from definite criteria.

EFFECT: driving with optimised fuel consumption.
