FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: two or more components of multibeam transmission of a received signal are used as an example. The received signal can be correlated with a synchronisation sequence in the time domain or in the frequency domain, which leads to division of two more components of multibeam transmission of the received signal. Analysis of at least one of the components of multibeam transmission enables to provide frequency shift of the received signal. Also, by analysing components of multibeam transmission, estimation of frequency shift can be improved compared to single signal analysis techniques.

EFFECT: high accuracy of estimating frequency shift of a received signal.
