FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental engineering and specifically to mobile equipment for use when cleaning the environment from oil contamination in places which are not easily reachable or are not reachable by fixed installations for depositing sorbent, as well as for cleaning spills of oil products in form of thin films on the ground and water surface. The system has an auger feeder whose output is connected to the ejector of a spray chamber. The system is additionally fitted with a sorbent preparation device, whose output is connected to the input of the auger feeder. The sorbent used can be peat or a sapropel or sawdust. The oil products-microorganisms for the biosorbent used are Acinetobacter, Enterobacter, Bacillus, Saccharomyces bacteria or combinations thereof. The system is mounted on a fixed platform and is fitted with a standalone electric generator to provide electrical power for the drives of the system devices.
EFFECT: design of a universal all-season apparatus which is suitable for applying available sorbent based on local natural material on oil spills on the ground as well as on water, which enables to eliminate oil contamination directly on the spill site without the need for further collection and recycling of sorbent with the oil contaminants.
