FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at production of parts of friction units operating under temperature to 350°C. Powder composite material contains matrix on base of copper alloy and a reinforcing agent containing quazi-crystals of system Al-Cu-Fe, doped B, and Al2O3 at following ratios of components, wt %: quazi-crystals 5.0-6.0; Al2O3 1.0-1.5; matrix - the rest. Matric can contain, wt %: tin 0.9-1.2; lead 18.0-22.0; copper - the rest.

EFFECT: material has high wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high tensile strength and facilitates operability of friction parts in air medium.
