FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydro-dynamic friction bearing has an insertion (1) with an anti-friction coating (2), surface of which has oil pockets in most loaded section divided with sections of working surface (4). Depth of the oil pockets decreases from inlet of lubricating material into a friction zone. The pockets correspond to cross grooves (3) with smooth transition to working surface (4); dimension of the grooves by length is bigger, than by width.
EFFECT: increased reliability of bearing due to reduced wear.
