FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: radial bearing of liquid friction comprises bushing-trunnion (1) located in the bushing-insert (3). On the surface of the bushing-trunnion (1) the system of parallel martensite beads (3) is created, it during the bearing movement ensures maximum number of the oil wedges, creating the hydro dynamic forces supporting the bushing-trunnion. Beads (3) are made on the bushing-trunnion (1) in form of system of parallel beads (3) one after another at distance L = (1.5÷3)h from each other, where h is bead width (3), projecting above the surface by 0.3÷1.5 mm, in direction parallel to the bearing axis. The beads are made on the bushing-trunnion (1) in form of two systems of the parallel beads: one after another, in form of mesh at angle 2β = 60÷120°. Both systems are located symmetrically relatively to the direction of the bearing movement during operation at circumferential distance L1 = Lcosβ from each other.
EFFECT: creation of the radial bearing of liquid friction with design ensuring maximum possible number of oil wedges, design considers the possibility of short-term operation at low sliding speeds, change of load direction on the bearing, possibility of reverse operation, the bearing is simple in manufacturing, has long service life and is cheap.
