FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: energy is stored in an accumulator and the flash diagram of a light source is programmed. The main light source is switched on at night. Programmed light flashes are generated. Radiation of the light source is formed by an optical lens of different colour in separate sectors, and if the main light source runs out of power, the accumulator of the backup light source is switched on. The flash diagrams of several light sources are synchronised. The main light source is powered from the main accumulator, and the backup accumulator is charged from the main accumulator. The light source used is series-connected light-emitting diodes. A lens which forms light flux is placed on each light-emitting diode. The colour of the light is determined by the light-emitting diode. A sector of different colour is formed from some of the light-emitting diodes. Navigation is allowed in white-coloured sectors.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of navigation.
