SUBSTANCE: following stages are carried out: division (2100) of an upper layer macroblock into simplest units; calculation (2200) of an intermediate position for each simplest unit within a low resolution image from a simplest unit position depending on modes of upper layer macroblock coding and images of high and low resolution; identification (2300) of a basic layer macroblock called base_MB, containing a pixel arranged in the intermediate position; calculation (2400) of a final position within a low resolution image from an alleged position of the basic layer depending on coding modes of base_MB macroblock and upper layer macroblock and images of high and low resolution; identification (2500) of the basic layer macroblock called real_base_MB, containing a pixel arranged in the final position; and production (2600) of motion data for the upper layer macroblock from motion data of the identified real_base_MB.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of video coding.
