FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: image decoding device decodes the bit stream coded with forecasting to receive a signal of the moving image. The named bit stream is created by means of separation of each frame of the signal of the moving image into a set of blocks and by means of execution of forecasting of movement for each of blocks. The image decoding device contains the decoding module and the forecasting module. The decoding module performs decoding of bit stream for obtaining of information indicating the block size, information indicating the threshold value of the block size, the first mode of movement forecasting which correspond to the named block.
EFFECT: information decoding efficiency improvement.
