FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery and can be used for treatment of cataract by method of phacoemulsification in case of failure of crystalline lens ligamentous apparatus. Corneal tunnel access is performed. Anterior capsulorexis is carried out. In equator zone of crystalline lens introduced are two open intracapsular rings. Rings are brought in through diametrically located paracenteses successively and in one direction, leaving the second 2-3 cm long end of each ring outside. Paracenteses are formed parallel to iris and at angle 45° to sagittal plane, as well as parallel to each other. Cataract phacoemulsification is performed. Both rings are brought outside. Capsule sac is ablated. Intraocular lens is implanted and fixed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce operation complications, eliminate postoperative astigmatism, accelerate patient's rehabilitation.
