FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed mechanism comprises foundation 1, table 2 to accommodate crystalliser 3, articulated levers 4 and 5 jointing said foundation 1 with the support, and table swing drive 2 made up of cam 7, shaft 8, reduction gear 11 and motor 12. Said reduction gear 11 comprises double-helical gear 9 and shaft gear 10 fitted to move axially driven by spring and thrust bearing. Spring pre-tensioning force is selected to exceed by 20-30% the axial component of peripheral stress in toothing that is created by aforesaid drive.
EFFECT: higher quality of ingot surface and decreased number of bleeders thanks to stabilised continuous casting.
