FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in moulding electromagnets from steel. Moulding is performed batchwisely. Not here that, first, thin-wall cup 1 is cast from steel with carbon content of 0.20-0.30% with its outer surface shape and sizes matching those of magnetic core outer surface. Then, rings 4 and 5 are places inside said cup to mould poles and magnetic core base from steel in space between aforesaid cup and said rings from steel with carbon content of 0.05-0.14%. If aforesaid rings are made from steel with carbon content exceeding 0.14%, it is recommended to withdraw pole ring after moulding the pole.
EFFECT: higher saturation induction, hence, higher lifting capacity of electromagnet.
