FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: waste water and a neutralising reagent are mixed in the required proportions. Waste water is then filtered through neutralising materials. The initial water is fed for treatment into the top part of the apparatus through a pipe which then passes through an inner and an outer perforated cylinder, between which the neutralising material is placed, for example limestone, marble, dolomite, when treating salt-nitrogen and sulphuric waste water, and the treated water is output from the housing through a mesh made in form of a cylinder course surrounding the neutraliser, and then through an annular container for outlet of the treated waste water through channels connected with inlet manifolds, fitted with meshed filter elements, and into a reservoir which acts as a settling tank and having an outlet pipe for the cleaned waste water.
EFFECT: invention increases degree of purification of waste water by using a neutralising reagent.
