FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dust separation equipment. Venturi scrubber comprises cyclone separator connected with Venturi tube arranged perpendicular to cyclone separator axis. It differs from known designs in that it incorporates cleaned gas discharge pipe and contaminated slime discharge pipe connected with sludge trap settler. Note here that water is separated from sludge in settler to be fed into mixing tank fed with fresh water and forced by pump into scrubber Venturi tube. Note also that Venturi tube consists of confuser and diffuser composed by complex multifaceted surfaces with shape approximating to pyramidal bodies with curvilinear trapezoid cross-section. Note also that every fluid atomiser comprises hollow cylindrical case connected with nozzle having orifices. Hollow cylindrical sprayer casing has outer thread for distributing pipeline to be connected thereto for feed fluid and inner thread to connection to taper nozzle. Casing and nozzle form two aligned chambers. Note here that cylindrical chamber serves to feed fluid while said taper chamber makes higher-pressure chamber. Nozzle has a jet arranged at side opposite fluid feed side and consists of cylindrical throttling orifice and tapered orifice with expansion directed toward the object. Note here that conical orifice surface has helical thread to create fan-shaped spray while nozzle conical lateral surface has, at least, three rows of cylindrical throttling orifices. Note also that horizontal plane of orifice axis projections are spaced apart by 7.5…60° to create fine continuous phase of sprayed fluid. Note also that swirler is fitted in cylindrical chamber, coaxially herewith, with clearance relative to chamber inner side surface. Said swirler is made up of sleeve with outer trapezoidal-section high-pitch screw surface. It is screwed to rod secured by screen filter to the case.
