FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dust wet separation equipment. Venturi scrubber comprises cyclone separator connected with Venturi tube arranged perpendicular to cyclone separator axis. It differs from known designs in that it incorporates cleaned gas discharge pipe and contaminated slime discharge pipe connected with sludge trap settler. Note here that water is separated in said trap from sludge and fed into mixing tank supplied with fresh water. Then, it is fed by the pump into scrubber Venturi tube. Note also that Venturi tube consists of confuser and diffuser composed by complex multifaceted surfaces with shape approximating to pyramidal bodies with curvilinear trapezoid cross-section. Each said fluid sprayer comprises casing, union and swirler aligned therewith. Note here that said union has diverging channel to feed fluid to cylindrical bore. Said bore, axially symmetric with said casing, smoothly changes into shaped bore coaxial herewith and is composed of Laval nozzle. Cylindrical swirler is fitted in the casing cylindrical bore axially symmetric herewith. Said swirler has outer peripheral helical cut channels. Note also that central axial bore with helical grooves on inner surface is made in swirler axis in direction opposite that of grooves cutting. Spraying nozzle has swirling insert fitted in the nozzle case via resilient spacers and squeezed by union by threaded joint case-union.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of dust separation.
