FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method refers to livestock breeding, in particular to fur-bearing sheep breeding. The method consists in assessing conformation and composition of animals, taking into account the characteristics and nature of adjoining of the skin to the body, i.e. presence of skin free stock - skinfolds. For further selection with other equal criteria rams are selected with a high degree of folding - not less than five folds.
EFFECT: method enables to increase the yield of lambs with large amount of woolfell.
