METHOD OF RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR REPORTED INFORMATION BASED ON ANALYSIS OF NONVERBAL AND VERBAL COMPONENT DYNAMICS IN EXPRESSIVE SPEECH Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/00

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to psychology and psychophysiology and can be applied in court proceedings, in personnel hiring and assignment, screening tests and functional audits. Parameters of nonverbal and verbal components of expressive speech are registered in answers for question sets of neutral, reference and test type. Dynamics of given parameters are examined, most descriptive parameters grouped by factor analysis are selected. Change tendencies characteristic of test subject for each parameter and/or parameter groups of verbal and nonverbal components of expressive speech are identified and used to draw a conclusion whether the reported information is true or false by comparing quantitative parameters of response to test question set to quantitative parameters of response to neutral and/or reference question sets. The following response groups are used as registered parameters: 1) prosody; 2) external linguistics; 3) verbal indicators; 4) speech articulation features: stutter, functional dyslalia, dysarthria; 5) other parameters. First 25% of response in all parameters of nonverbal behavior of the first question set are not taken into consideration. Categorical conclusion on the false or true character of reported information can be drawn when the number of parameters with confirmed response tendency is not less than 70% of all parameters.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and objectiveness of information reliability assessment due to registration and comparison of responses for test question set to responses for neutral and/or reference question set.
