FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly ophthalmology. Cortico-retinal relationships are exposed to pattern stimulation. A stimulation source is a horizontal kaleidoscope comprising free-form painted translucent elements and a multicolour light guide. It is followed by simultaneous exposure to light at various long waves varying within a visible light and by varying elements. If visual acuity is more than or equal to 0.1, figures 3-4 mm are used, while visual acuity being less than 0.1 requires using figures 6-7 mm. The stimulation is carried out for 20 days daily for 15 minutes.
EFFECT: method allows treating amblyopia in children of various age both in hospital environment, and domiciliary.
