FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises an element under an edge, which is installed as capable of displacement under a lower edge of an eave and is designed to damage ice crusts and icicles. In the warm period of the year the element under the edge is arranged in the plane inclined reversely to the eave, forming an angle-shaped trough for collection of rain moisture. In the cold period of the year the element under the edge is brought into the eave plane and is used according to its main purpose. The joint between the edge, roof and element under the edge is sealed.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
