FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: between sealed parts there formed is annular cavity in which a seal ring and pressure ring is arranged with possibility of their automatic prepressure owing to the medium pressure inside the sealed cavity. Pressure ring is provided with mounting surface for seal ring and with thrust end surface for restriction of deformation of the seal ring. Length of mounting surface is less than thickness of the seal ring by the value of the required compression deformation. Seal ring is pre-pressed to mounting surface of pressure ring and replaceable assembly unit - autoseal is formed. The other version of the sealing method is described.
EFFECT: higher reliability of the seal and easier erection and removal process of the equipment in field conditions on items of large sizes.
