FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device for preventing formation of condensate plugs in gas line includes pipeline with inclined sections and connecting bend with enveloping channel; drain condensate line provided in the lower part of connecting bend is located in funnel-shaped enveloping channel and connected to filling capacity located below soil freezing level; at that, in the reserve capacity there arranged is condensate discharge pipeline coaxially fixed in the enveloping channel, and on outer surfaces of inclined pipeline sections and connecting bend there are screw-shaped grooves with dovetail profile. Connecting bend is made from bimetal; at that, bimetal material on the side of screw-shaped grooves has heat-conductivity coefficient which is by 2.0-2.5 times more than heat-conductivity coefficient of bimetal material on inner surface of the connecting bend.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of preventing the condensate plug formation and improving the gas line operation in varied weather conditions with reduction of aerodynamic resistance.
